Make & Takes designed by 2008 Stampin Up Artisan Award winner Robin Desko.

This event will be open to all Stampin' Up Demonstrators.

A Little Q & A From Glenda

1.    Why did you become a demonstrator?

I became a demonstrator for the same reason most do, I LOVE THE PRODUCTS and wanted the discount! I STAY a demonstrator for much different reasons: For one, it allows me to schedule my work hours so that I can care for my grandson before and after school and any other time he needs me!  And… the new friends I’ve made is enough reason to stay forever!

2.    What is your favorite thing about Stampin’ Up!?

Being the upline! I don’t have one, never did- she quit before I ever got to place my first order, so I missed out on Stampin’ Start and probably many other things I didn’t know about.  Rather than worry about not having one, I just decided to be the best one I could be!

3.    What is your favorite part of being an upline?

My favorite part of being an upline is the opportunity to motivate and inspire my group members to be successful. But not MY definition of success, THEIR definition.  I constantly remind them success is about “what YOU want for yourself, not what I want for you”  Quarterly meetings is probably my favorite event!

eScape Promotion from Stampin' Up!

Remember how nice it is to receive a card in the mail?  or a handwritten note or letter just to say HELLO!?

The age of electronics, computers, email, texting on cell phones have taken a firm hold in society.  The art of personal communication is cast aside for the convenience of less personal communication.  While it's truly necessary and an effective way to get things done, why not take a few minutes and send someone a note that says a little more?  Create a card whether for birthday or just because and put it in the mail, you know, the old fashioned way....I promise, you'll make someones day!

Take advantage of the eScape Promotion to make it even easier and save 25% along the way...details below:

Happy Memorial Day!

Taking a minute to wish you all a wonderful long weekend.  There are many things to be thankful for this weekend as we take this time to honor those that have served our country, family and friends lost and looking ahead to our own future.  I hope you all have a weekend filled with great memories and safe travels.

We are busy with a special celebration of our own - and if you're a lacrosse fan, you can catch all of the NCAA Final Four excitement on ESPN this weekend - that's  where we'll be, live at Gillette Stadium...rooting on Syracuse in the Championship on Monday against Hopkins!  We are facing Hopkins 25 years after Syracuse faced them in 1983 and WON!  HUGE event here for us as my husband, his younger brother and the oldest brother (who is now the coach of the mens lax team at Syracuse) will all take center field at half time on Monday along with the rest of the 1983 team to celebrate the 25 year anniversary win.  We're hoping for a repeat performance!  GO ORANGE!

Once all of the excitement is over, I'll be working on some pretties to share with you as well as a new class planner for my Demo Preptorial program!  Be back soon!

Artisan Award Winners from Stampin' Up!

Well, I guess I've kept this to myself long enough.

Last year Stampin' Up! introduced a new award - the Artisan Award. To be considered, you must enter the required number of projects in each category in March and then HOPE that you are one of the lucky 10 winners. I am so excited to tell you that this year I was selected as one of the lucky recipients of the Artisan Award. It's such an honor. I wish I could share photographs, but unfortunately it's not permitted. In fact the only people who saw the projects prior to submission are my husband, my kids and my MOM (she's my biggest fan, LOL). For those of you that will be at the Stampin' Up! Convention, the projects of all 10 winners will be on display at Convention and published a little later in the summer in one of the Stampin' Up! publications.

So now you know what I was so busy working on ....hopefully once Memorial Day weekend is over, I'll get back to posting some new creation inspiration.
